Unknown persons steal bicycle

(jd) Last night (12.12.), a 24-year-old man from Bünde noticed his bike had been stolen shortly after midnight. He had parked the brown Gudereit bicycle in a bicycle stand in the parking lot of a supermarket that evening and secured it with a cable lock. The bike was still in place at around 7 p.m. - but when the man returned to the bike stand during the night, his bike had disappeared. The lock, which the strangers had obviously cut with a tool, was lying next to the bike stand. Witnesses who can provide information about the circumstances or the whereabouts of the bicycle, which has a silver bottle holder, are asked to call 05221/8880. The value of the bicycle is in the mid three-digit range.
