NETIQUETTE
If there is cause for criticism, our social media team is happy to receive it in an objective and constructive manner. To prevent misunderstandings, we would like to ask you to observe a few basic rules according to which the social media team moderates:
- We also address you as part of our social media presence
- For reasons of simplicity and clarity, we refrain from "gendering": so when we refer to "colleagues" or "citizens", for example, we mean "female colleagues" or "citizens"
- This is a platform for discussion. For us, this means that we allow comments, even if they do not reflect the opinion of the Herford District Police Authority or contain factual criticism.
- We reserve the right to remove racist, sexist, unobjectively offensive or similarly inappropriate comments (e.g. obscene language, advertising) from our website.(e.g. obscene language, advertising or personal data) or delete them if this is technically possible. The decision to do so is at the discretion of the social media team. In the case of minor violations, we hide the comments so that only the author or their friends can see them, but not the public. In the case of serious or repeated violations, the comments will be deleted.
- Possibly criminally relevant content will be forwarded to the responsible department for review and, if necessary, prosecuted.
- Comments containing links will be deleted automatically. This is to prevent users of this site from being lured to other sites that may contain malware. We also want to prevent discussions from getting out of hand.
